We will be celebrating Columbus Day on Monday with a no school day. Today the students and I talked about Columbus and what he did. We looked at the world map and examined the route he thought he was taking and the route that he really did take. We read a book called "1492" and also watched a short video about Christopher Columbus.
Our art activity was to create Columbus's 3 boats- The Nina, The Pinta, and The Santa Maria. Here is our awesome artwork.
