Look Who Came Back To School

Our Leprechauns who had disappeared on St. Patrick's Day all of a sudden re-appeared during vacation. They said they were done playing with the leprechauns and wanted to come back. Can you believe it?

Reminders

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday is our field trip to the Library and the Police Station. Please remember to pack a home lunch as we won't get back to school until 12pm.

Thursday is an early release with a dismissal time of 1:15.

Chickens Aren't the Only Ones

Today we read the story "Chickens Aren't the Only Ones" by Ruth Heller.  We discussed oviparous animals (ones who hatch from eggs).  Each student created an animal and a sentence about it.  Here are just a few plus the charts we created.

Hello Everyone!

I just returned from 2 days of professional development in Manchester, NH.  I must say it was fabulous and I am excited to use much of what I learned in the classroom.  I also learned how to create a blog!  So, here is my first attempt at doing so.  Hopefully there will be more to come!
