See You At The Library

For those of you who don't know, I will be reading at the library next Thursday June 30. Come in your pajamas and visit me. I hope to see everyone there! It's really hard to believe that the end of Kindergarten is upon us. I would like to thank everyone for their help and support over the past year. I will really miss the kids but look forward to them returning as First Graders. I will see everyone on Monday morning. Come early to get good seats. We are the riser on the left side of the stage so plan accordingly. Mrs. Hewitt

Adam Sandler and Vanilla Ice

For those of you who didn't know... Adam Sandler is filming a movie on Collins Street. I hung around after school and got to see him pull in and come out to greet his fans. I also saw Vanilla Ice...

Field Day

We had a great time at Field Day... Outside and BUSY playing games. Here are a few pictures. I bet the kids sleep really WELL tonight!

Checking out the butterflies

Butterflies

As most of you know, our caterpillars died not long after we got them. It was due to the cold snap we had. They need to be kept really warm and that didn't happen. We did however, order some chrysalis from the same company. I am happy to report that we got to see 3 live monarch butterflies. Yesterday, we had Ms. Pollack and Mrs. Connors' classes join us and we compared Ms. Pollack's painted lady butterflies to our monarch butterflies. We went in a giant tent for an up close view. Then, we said goodbye and released them.
