Measuring

We started to talk about measuring and did an activity that measured us and a friend. Each team used "bird" squares to measure each other and then compare who was taller or shorter. After we compared our answers, we predicted how many birds tall Mrs. Hewitt would be. Since I was only 14 birds tall, some children's measurements were not quite accurate. (Some wrote they were 11 or 12 birds tall) It was a good way to begin learning about measuring.
